WAKANA “Neighboring Balloon - Orange & Turquoise Blue”

¥240,000

WAKANA

WAKANA began her career as a full-time artist in 2022.
Soft and seemingly weightless, balloons push against one another, overlap, and sometimes drift apart, constantly changing their shapes.
Drawing parallels between this movement and human relationships, she explores the pressure, friction, and boundaries that emerge between people, as well as emotions that evolve over time.
The central theme she has consistently explored through her work is "PROGRESS," representing change and moving forward.
In 2025, she received two Special Awards at Independent Tokyo.
In 2026, she continues to expand her artistic world while developing her practice.
