朝際イコ / Ico Asagiwa


2021 年より本格的にイラストレーターとして活動を開始。
2024 年イーストプレスより「カフヱーピウパリア」で漫画家デビュー。

「大正80 年生まれ」の「ネオ大正浪漫」を自称。
女給、メイド、日本刀、伝統玩具など戦前戦後問わず日本的なモチーフをビビッドな色合いで表現する。
表現はイラストに限らず音楽、アニメ、漫画、着物を中心としたファッションなど多岐に渡る。
自身の描く世界を現実世界に再現する活動もしている。

Began working in earnest as an illustrator in 2021.
Made her manga debut in 2024 with「 Cafe Piuparia」, published by East Press.

Self-described as born in Taisho 80th, and known for her “Neo-Taishō Romanticism.”
Japanese motifs such as café waitresses, maids, swords, and traditional toys,
drawn from both prewar and postwar periods, are expressed in vivid color palettes.

Her creative practice extends beyond illustration, including mu sic, animation, manga, and
fashion centered around kimono.
She is also involved in recreating the worlds she draws within real life.
